A FINE ICON SHOWING THE FEODOROVSKAYA MOTHER OF GOD Russian, 19th century (icon), Russian, Moscow, Mikhail Golotchanov, 1894 (oklad) Tempera on wood panel. Finely executed, in the traditional style, the facial features highlighted with delicate brushstrokes. The border of the silver oklad embellished with repoussé flowers. Marked with city hallmark, assayer's mark, 84 standard and master's mark 'MG' in Cyrillic. 31.5 x 26.3 cm.
