Feiner Empire-Teller mit Antiken-Porträt von Sèvres Runde Form mit schräg ansteigender Fahne und glattem Rand. Im weiß ausgesparten Spiegel das goldgerahmte Tondo mit der fein gemalten, en Grisaille ausgeführten Frauenbüste auf mattschwarzem Grund. Kaminrote Fahne mit Goldrand. Unw. rest.; Jahreszeichen. Manufakturmarke. D. 23,5 cm
Im Jahr 1808 erhielt die Manufaktur Sèvres den Auftrag für das sog. Service "Iconographique grec", welche bedeutende Büsten der Antike in aufwendiger Kameen-Malerei mit Lapislazuli imitierender Fahne zeigt, gefertigt für das Schloss Saint-Cloud. Als Vorlagenwerk diente das sog. "Iconographie grecque" von Ennio Quirino Visconti.

Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
