Feines Figurenpaar einer Falknerin und Falkner von Meissen Auf naturalistischem, mit plastischen Blüten und Blättern belegtem Sockel stehende junge Falknerin im langen Rock mit Mieder, Schürze und Jacke sowie einem Dreispitz. Auf der rechten, behandschuhten Hand einen Falken haltend. Als Gegenstück stehender Falkner einen von Goldknöpfen gesäumten Oberrock, lange Stiefel, einen Dreizack tragend und auf der angewinkelten Hand ein Falke sitzend. Polychrome Malerei mit Goldakzentuierung. Falkner-Entw. Johann Friedrich Eberlein, Johann Gottlieb Ehder und Johann Joachim Kaendler, 1744. Falknerin-Entw. Johann Friedrich Eberlein, 1746. Unw. rest.; Minim. best.; Teilw. Schwertermarke. H. 17,5 cm - 18 cm.
Beide Figuren sind in Arbeitsberichten dokumentiert. Während Eberlein "1. Falckonirer nebst seinen Falcken verfertiget", hat Eheder "2. Einen Falken zu einem Figurgen rein bossirt" und Kändler "7. Ein Modell in gestalt eines Falconirs Corrigiret und zum abformen gegeben". Die Darstellung der Falknerin orientiert sich an einem Kupferstich von Johann Christoph Weigel, der aus einer Serie von Jägerszenen stammt (Meissen, Unternehmsarchiv, Inv.-Nr. VA 4491).
