A RARE BRONZE WINE VESSEL 'POU' OR 'LEI' - China, Eastern Zhou/ Warring States period - The decoration here consists of characteristic dragon pattern bands, separated by hoops with rope decoration within double contour lines. The entire surface of the vessel body was decorated, only the neck and foot are left out. Interestingly, a total of six lines of rope decoration run vertically downward. Cast bronze, largely uniformly thin green and brownish patina, some larger areas of whitish stannic oxide accumulation in the areas left undecorated on the vessel neck and foot. - Important Austrian private collection, acquired in the early 1990s from E. & J. The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments.
