Ferdinand Graf von Zeppelin begann seine militärische Karriere in der württembergischen Armee, war zeitweise Kommandeur des Ulanenregiments 19 in Ulm, später württembergischer Gesandter in Berlin und musste 1891 als Generalleutnant seinen Abschied nehmen. Seit etwa 1880 beschäftigte er sich mit der Entwicklung eines lenkbaren Ballons und ab 1899 widmete er sich dem Bau seines ersten Luftschiffes. 1908, nach der erfolgreichen Fahrt von LZ 3, ernannte ihn Kaiser Wilhelm II. zum General der Kavallerie. 1917 verstarb Graf Zeppelin und wurde in Stuttgart beigesetzt. Von großer Seltenheit.

Count Ferdinand von Zeppelin began his military career in the army of Württemberg, commanding Uhlan Regiment 19 in Ulm and serving as the Württemberg envoy in Berlin before his retirement as a Generalleutnant in 1891. He was engaged from about 1880 in the development of a steerable balloon, and from 1899 he was dedicated to the construction of his first airship. In 1908, following the successful cruise of LZ 3, Kaiser Wilhelm II appointed him General of the Cavalry. Count von Zeppelin died in 1917 and was buried in Stuttgart. Of great rarity.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments.
