A GILT-BRONZE FIGURE OF AMITAYUS - Tibet, 16th c. - Seated in vajrasana on a lotus-base with both hands resting on his lap covered with a ceremonial textile supporting the kalasha, wearing dhoti, jewellery partly set with turquoise beads, his face displaying a serene expression with downcast eyes below arched eyebrows running into the nose-bridge, urna at his forehead formerly inlaid with a bead, elongated earlobes with floral-shaped ornaments, his hairdo combed in a chignon with a pair of long strands falling down along his upper arms, topped with a figurine of Buddha and secured with a tiara decorated with a pair of floating ribbons, unsealed. - European private collection, assembled before 2000 - Very minor wear to gilding, very minor traces of age

In Vajrasana auf einem Lotussockel sitzend, beide Hände in den Schoß gelegt, bedeckt mit einem zeremoniellen Stoff, der die Kalasha trägt, in Dhoti gekleidet, Schmuck, der teilweise mit türkisfarbenen Perlen besetzt ist, sein Gesicht zeigt einen heiteren Ausdruck mit niedergeschlagenen Augen unter gewölbten Augenbrauen, die in den Nasensteg übergehen, Urna auf der Stirn, die früher mit einer Perle besetzt war, verlängerte Ohrläppchen mit floralen Ornamenten, die Frisur zu einem Dutt gekämmt, mit zwei langen Strähnen, die an den Oberarmen herabfallen, gekrönt von einer Buddha-Figur und gesichert durch ein Diadem, das mit einem Paar schwebender Bänder verziert ist, unverschlossen.

Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
