Beidseitig schmal gekehlte Klinge mit terzseitig in Silber eingelegtem Ornament. Auf der Gegenseite silbereingelegte Inschrift mit Tughra und Datierung "1216" (= 1801). Griff und Klingenfassung aus filigran verziertem Silber, besetzt mit einigen Korallen. Die silberblechbezogene Holzscheide vollflächig mit ornamental gearbeitetem Silberfiligran überzogen. Am Ort plastischer Monsterkopf. Länge 74,5 cm. Ungewöhnliche und extrem aufwendig gearbeitete Scheide in guter Erhaltung.

The blade with narrow fullers on both sides, an ornament inlaid in silver on the obverse. A silver-inlaid inscription with tughra and date "1216" (= 1801) on the opposite side. The grip and blade mounting made of filigree embellished silver, set with several corals. The wooden scabbard plated in sheet silver, entirely covered in ornamental silver filigree. The sculpted head of a monster at the chape. Length 74.5 cm. The unusual, exceptionally opulent scabbard in good condition.
