Eine Winter-Fliegerhaube aus braunem Leder mit Futter aus hellbraunem Samt, eingefasst von grauem Fell. Stirnseitig aufgenäht ein beschriftetes japanisches Stoffetikett. Dazu die schön erhaltene Pilotenbrille mit rotbraunem Metallrahmen, intakten Gläsern, braunem Samtpolster und elastischem Kopfband im originalen braunen Pappfutteral, der Deckel mit aufgeprägtem Propeller- und Ankersymbol der Marineflieger. Außerdem ein Paar Winterhandschuhe aus braunem Leder (Fehlstellen im Fingerbereich) mit bräunlichem Fellfutter (Altreparaturen). Stellenweise leicht beschädigt, Trage- und Altersspuren.

A bicorne hat, dress uniform, epaulettes and belt of the naval pilot Captain Murayama Toshimitsu, including two cases
Fine bicorne hat of black mohair felt with gilt and silvered bullion ornament, gilt anchor button and black rep cockade, trimmed with gilt bullion tassels fore and aft, white silk lining embroidered with red Japanese characters. A pair of excellently preserved gilt bullion epaulettes with anchor and star details and dark-blue velvet lining in original, canvas-covered case.
In a second case the elegant, double-breasted short dress jacket with tails, of dark-blue wool fabric, with gilt anchor buttons, lieutenant’s sleeve braid, elaborate embroidery at the collar and white silk lining, various labels with Japanese characters in the right breast pocket and the neck. Dark-blue trousers with golden stripe on either side, replaced label at the waistband. Black leather dress belt with gilt braid and mounts, the leather flap of the clasp with Japanese stamps. Attached two sword straps. Both cases with identical maker’s label on the inside of the lid and name labels attached to the obverse. Partially slightly damaged, signs of age. Rare set.
Murayama Toshimitsu enlisted in the Imperial Japanese Navy in 1929. He was promoted to (junior grade) lieutenant in 1932 and lieutenant and squadron leader on Tateyama Air Base in 1935, before he became a lieutenant commander and flight instructor on Hakata Air Base (incl. large-size picture with trainees). He was transferred to the hybrid carrier Ise in 1943 and was killed in action in the South China Sea in 1944.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
