Auf dem Vorsatzbrett der Physharmonika findet sich, in einem Perlmuttschild, die Signatur „Favier, Facteur d’Orgues, Passage de Pont-Neuf, No19. an 1836“. Das Instrument unterliegt bereits den Einflüssen des Harmoniumbaus, zeigt jedoch eindeutige Merkmale einer Physharmonika.
Der Korpus ist in Palisander furniert und ruht auf einem X-förmigen Gestell, welches ebenfalls das Pedal trägt. Die Klaviatur (C-f2) hat ein Stichmaß von 48,0cm.

The signature "Favier, Facteur d'Orgues, Passage de Pont-Neuf, No19. an 1836" is found in an oval plate made from mother-of-pearl on the front board of the physharmonica. The instrument is already subject to the influences of harmonium construction but shows clear characteristics of a physharmonica.
The body is veneered in rosewood and rests on an X-shaped frame, which also carries the pedal. The keyboard (C-f2) has a 3-octave-span of 48.0cm.
