Nach 1955. Bronze, patiniert. H. 60 cm. Auf der Plinthe monogr. FC, unterseitig Gießerstempel: Seiler, num. Ex. 1/6, Klebeetikett der Werkverzeichnisnr. P 92-02 (P 169). Stehender weiblicher Akt eines sich abtrocknenden Mädchens - Literatur: WVZ: Schwind, Abb. S. 87 - Deutscher Bildhauer, Grafiker und Zeichner. Nach einer Ausbildung zum Steinbildhauer in Essen Meisterschüler von Wilhelm Gerstel an den Vereinigten Staatsschulen für Freie und Angewandte Kunst in Berlin, 1946 Professur und Leitung der Akademie für Angewandte Kunst in Wien, 1950 Übersiedlung in die DDR, wo er von 1974 - 1983 das Amt des Vizepräsidenten der Akademie der Künste innehatte. Sein bildhauerisches Werk umfasst öffentliche Denkmäler, Liebespaare und weibliche Akte, bekannt sind jedoch vor allem seine zahlreichen Lithografien, Zeichnungen und Büsten von Bertolt Brecht. After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
