Eindrucksvolle, teils durchbrochen gearbeitete Skulptur eines Vishnu in basischem Granolith. Fein reliefierte Details wie reicher Brustschmuck. In den erhobenen, hinteren Armen Glücks- und Fruchtbarkeitssymbole. Unten gebrochen, rechter, vorderer Arm fehlt. Oberfläche mit Altersspuren und wunderbar gewachsener Patina. Höhe 72 cm. Auf modernem Eisen-Sockel (Gesamthöhe 82 cm).

An early South Indian Chola-style standing Vishnu sculpture, 13th century
Formidable, partly openworked sculpture of a Vishnu in basic granolith. Fine details in relief, such as lavish breast ornaments. Symbols of luck and fertility in the raised arms at the back. Broken at the bottom, the right front arm is missing. The surface with signs of age and a wonderfully established patina. Height 72 cm. On a modern iron pedestal (total height 82 cm).

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
