Lot 2120 | Five of iron, the Roman age to the middle ages
A combination tool with a large adze blade and a small axe. The Hole lobes at the top and bottom by triangular Hole is reinforced. Length 39.5 cm. A Roman spoon bits, drills, preserved. Length 30 cm. Furthermore, a Schaftlochaxt with a circular Hole, a straight top and a slightly swing-out bottom. The cutting edge is slightly rounded. Length 16.5 cm. And a Schaftlochaxt with a flat neck and a slightly rounded cutting edge. Length 14 cm. Finally, a double axe with a straight top and short Cut. A length of 16 cm. All the devices with excellent iron substance. Interesting Ensemble of iron tools of different eras. Provenance: From a Franconian private collection, acquired from the collection of the father. Of this purchased in the 1960s to the 1980s. Condition: II -
