Gilded ceremonial object consisting of three jade rings connected by hinges and fitting into each other. The outermost ring gilded and with a sculptural dragon figure on top. The middle ring with gilded dragon decoration. The smallest, innermost ring completely gilded and decorated with a spiral pattern. In the centre a gilded dragon. The two connecting pieces between the three rings partially gilded with taotie masks. Finest, probably antique engraving work. Small remnants of copper concretions in places. The connecting pin between the outermost and middle ring is missing. Intact. Diameter 15.8 cm. Height 20 cm.
Provenance: From an old private collection in Munich, acquired in the 1960s - 1970s in an art gallery at Cologne, Germany.

Vergoldetes Zeremonialobjekt, das aus drei über Scharniere miteinander verbundenen und ineinander passenden Jaderingen besteht. Der äußerste Ring vergoldet und oben mit einer plastischen Drachenfigur. Der mittlere Ring mit vergoldetem Drachendekor. Der kleinste, innerste Ring vollständig vergoldet und mit Spiralmuster dekoriert. Im Zentrum ein vergoldeter Drache. Die beiden Verbindungsstücke zwischen den drei Ringen teilvergoldet mit Taotie-Masken. Feinste, wohl antike Gravurarbeit. Stellenweise kleine Reste von Kupferkonkretionen. Der Verbindungsstift zwischen dem äußersten und mittleren Ring fehlt. Sonst intakt. Durchmesser 15,8 cm. Höhe 20 cm.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
