Einteilig geschlagene Glocke mit hohem, geschnürltem Kamm. Glocke und Krempe mit umlaufenden Futternieten (in der Glocke messingunterlegt). Geschwungene, spitz zulaufende Krempe mit gebördeltem und geschnürltem Rand, Fehlstelle und kleine Beschädigung auf der rechten Seite. Vollflächiger, reicher Ätzdekor aus antikisierenden Figuren und Trophäen. Grat des Kammes und Übergang vom Kamm zur Glocke mit Reparaturen, rs. zwei Befestigungslöcher für eine Federbuschtülle. Höhe 31 cm.
A finely etched Italian morion, circa 1600
One-piece hammered skull with high roped comb. The skull and brim encircled by a row of lining rivets (brass-lined in the skull). The brim pointed fore and aft, with turned and roped edge, a loss and small damage on the right side. Richly etched all-over with ancients figures and trophies. The ridge of the comb and the section between the comb and skull with repairs, on the reverse two holes for the fastening of a plume socket. Height 31 cm.
