Fein geflammte zweischneidige Klinge mit einseitig in Messing eingelegter Passauer Wolfsmarke. Kräftige Fehlschärfe mit originaler Belederung, seitlich zwei kräftige Parierhaken. Geschwärzte gegratete Parierstange mit großen doppelten Parierringen und Fingerbügeln. Die Enden der Parierstangen und Teile der Parierringe mit Resten von Vergoldung. Gestufte Hilze, der originale Lederbezug mit Kerbdekor. Achtfach gekehlter, doppelt konischer Knauf mit geschlagenem Kerbdekor, jede zweite Rippe mit Resten von Vergoldung. Aufgesetzter runder Vernietknauf. Anhängend alte Sammlungsnummern. Länge 179 cm.

A two-hand flamberge with a partially gilt guard, Passau, circa 1580
The finely undulating, double-edged blade with the Passau wolf mark inlaid in brass on one side. The powerful ricasso with the original leather cover, two sturdy guards at the side. The blackened, ridged quillons with large, double guard rings and finger rests. The ends of the quillons and parts of the guard rings with remnants of gilding. Stepped grip, the original leather cover with incised ornamentation. The double tapered pommel with eight grooves and incised ornamentation, every second rib with remnants of gilding. A circular, riveted finial. Old collection numbers attached. Length 179 cm.
A superlative two-hand sword in exceptionally good, arsenal-maintained condition.

After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
