Vom 5.8.1909 bis 21.4.1912 kommandierte Karl von Martini als bayerischer Generalleutnant die 6. Division in Regensburg. Anschließend wurde Martini unter gleichzeitiger Beförderung zum General der Infanterie auch kommandierender General des II. Armee-Korps. Diese Stellung behielt er auch nach Ausbruch des Ersten Weltkrieges bei. Für seine Verdienste wurde er 1909 mit dem Komturkreuz des Ordens der Bayerischen Krone ausgezeichnet.

Glasgerahmtes Bild des Kriegervereins Thanning aus dem Jahr 1910 mit 15 ovalen, beschrifteten Portraitfotos von Teilnehmern des Krieges 1870/71, im Zentrum Ernst von Barth zu Harmating als General der Infanterie. Dazu eine holzgerahmte Hirsch-Schießscheibe der Königlichen Infanterie-Schießschule, die Oberst von Barth zu Harmating als besten Schützen ausweist. Teilweise leicht beschädigt, Altersspuren. Maße 80 x 63 cm und 88 x 73 cm.
General Ernst von Barth zu Harmating begann 1868 seine Karriere als Offiziersaspirant im Infanterie-Leib-Regiment, stieg dort 1874 zum Oberleutnant auf und versah hier 1887/89 Dienst als Kompaniechef.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
