Helm für Offiziere der Garde-Feldartillerie mit schwarz lackiertem Lederkorpus, Beschläge mit schön erhaltener Vergoldung, Gardeadler mit aufgelegtem versilberten und emaillierten Stern, Teller mit vier Sternschrauben und abschraubbarer Kugel. Gewölbte, lederunterfütterte Schuppenketten, Offizierskokarden, Seidenripsfutter fehlt, in der Glocke das originale Etikett des Königl. Hoflieferanten Ed. Schultze Potsdam mit handschriftlichem Trägernamen "Frhr v. Werthern" und "Kopfmaß 54 1/2 cm" sowie "geliefert am 11.3.1916". Dazu der Paradebusch aus weißem Büffelhaar an glattem Trichter, im Originalkarton (ein Deckel behelfsmäßig geklebt). Weiterhin ein lederner Kartuschkasten mit emailliertem Gardestern. Außerdem ein Bleistift-Portrait von Wertherns (Maße 57 x 46 cm), signiert "Krahn 1918", sowie die gedruckte Familienchronik. Teilweise leicht beschädigt, Altersspuren.
Georg Thilo Hans von Werthern wurde am 2.3.1911 aus dem Kadettenkorps ins 2. Garde-Feldartillerie-Regiment überwiesen. Auch im 2. Weltkrieg war er Artillerie-Kommandeur und wurde am 1.6.1942 zum Generalmajor ernannt.
