In the 1920s, resulting, broadly painted works of the expressionists, which characterized not only the figure itself, but also a realistic picture of the modern, urban woman in the Weimar Republic. Tappert, who was in 1910, co-founder of the avant-garde of the "New Secession", created already before the First world war, a number of images with female subjects - dancers, portraits, as well as a great act series.
