Lebensgroße textile Standpuppe mit Waffen und Rüstung eines indischen Kriegers. Der Kopf aus farbig gefasster Keramik(?). Kettenhaube aus feinem vernieteten Gefecht mit langem Hals- und Nackenschutz. Im Scheitel eine runde eiserne Platte mit drei Federbuschtüllen. Langer Kettenpanzer aus vernietetem Geflecht mit angesetztem Kragen. Eingearbeitete Panzerplatten, an der Vorderseite zwei gewölbte Platten mit Verschlussösen, seitlich je zwei Platten, der Rücken mit drei Reihen überlappender Lamellen gepanzert. Die Hose aus auf Stoß geschlossenen Ringen wohl später. Einfacher eiserner Khanda mit europäischer, dreifach gekehlter Rückenklinge. Spätere, textil bezogene Holzscheide. Speer mit kräftigem, zweifach gekehltem Blatt und verstärkter Spitze. Gravierte Zwinge aus Bronze mit Verstärkungsringen. Runder Hartholzschaft mit Schuh aus Messingblech. Schwarz gefasster Rundschild aus kräftigem Leder mit schauseitig geprägtem Dekor. Vier bronzene Schildbuckel mit Resten von Vergoldung. Rückseite mit erhaltenem Handpolster, die Riemen defekt. Auf hölzernem Sockel. Höhe der Puppe ca. 180 cm, mit Sockel 200 cm. Länge Khanda 123 cm, Länge Speer 213 cm, Durchmesser Schild 52 cm.

A life-sized textile mannequin with the weapons and armour of an Indian warrior. The head made of ceramic (?), painted in colour. The mail coif made of finely riveted mesh with a long throat and neck guard. A circular iron plate with three plume sockets at the crown. Long chain mail of riveted mesh, the collar attached separately. Incorporated armour plates, two domed plates with eyelet fastenings on the front, two plates on either side, the back armoured with three rows of overlapping strips. The breeches probably of later date, made of rings placed end to end. Simple iron khanda featuring a European, single-edged blade with triple fullers. The cloth-covered wooden scabbard of later date. The spear with a sturdy, double fluted flange and a reinforced point. Engraved bronze ferrule with reinforcement rings. Round hardwood haft, the ferrule in sheet brass. The black-painted round shield in sturdy leather with embossed ornamentation on the front. Four bronze shield bosses with remnants of gilding. The back with preserved hand padding, the straps broken. Mounted on a wooden pedestal. Height of the mannequin approx. 180 cm, including pedestal 200 cm. Length of the khanda 123 cm, length of the spear 213 cm, diameter of the shield 52 cm.

If the auction house accepts a request, it will participate in the auction. You can view the current status of a bid at any time in your personal account in the "Bids" section.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
