Schwere, einteilig geschlagene Glocke mit sichtbarem Hammerschlag und hohem geschnürlten Kamm. Im Nacken vernieteter eiserner Federbuschhalter, daneben gravierte Arsenalbezeichnung "GP" des Gioco del Ponte in Pisa. An der rechten Seite alte genietete und feuerverschweißte Reparaturstelle. Zweiteiliges, aufschlächtiges Visier mit separaten Sehschlitzen und gelochten Atemöffnungen. Seitlich am Ansatz genietete Reparaturstelle. Gegratetes Kinnreff mit seitlichen Sperrhaken. Vernietete Kragenplatten. Höhe 31 cm.
Formschöner, aus alten Teilen zusammengestellter Helm.
An Italian cuirassier's close helmet, circa 1600
Heavy one-piece hammered skull with visible hammer marks and high roped comb. Iron plume socket riveted to the nape, engraved next to it "GP" signifying the armoury of Gioco del Ponte in Pisa. On the right side an old riveted and forge-welded repair. Two-piece hinged visor with two separate eye slits and pierced ventilation holes. Soldered repair at the lower edge. Ridged bevor with lateral hook-and-eye closure. Riveted gorget plates. Height 31 cm.
