Aus zwei Teilen hohl gearbeitetes Horn mit umlaufend halbplastisch geschnitzter Kampfdarstellung zwischen Hunden, Hirschen, Hasen, Wildschweinen und Vögeln. Gedrechselte Schütte und Stöpsel aus Elfenbein. Korpus mit kleineren Schwundrissen. Länge 20 cm.

A German carved ivory powder horn, ca. 1700
Two-piece hollow horn with encircling carved, three-dimensional fighting scene depicting dogs, stags, hares, wild boars and birds. Turned spout and stopper made from ivory. Body with small shrinkage cracks. Length 20 cm.
