Fontana Arte, Italien. Entwurf 1967, Ausführung wohl 1990er Jahre. Geriffeltes Pressglas, Metallelemente Messing, vernickelt. H. 184 cm. Die Form der Stehleuchte beruht auf Pontis berühmtestem Architekturentwurf - dem Pirelli-Hochhaus in Mailand - Ital. Architekt und Designer, Architekturstudium bis 1921 am Polytechnikum in Mailand, an dem er später eine Professur erhielt und von 1936 bis 1961 lehrte, 1923 wurde er künstlerischer Leiter der Porzellanmanufaktur Richard-Ginori (bis 1930), nach dem 2. WK gab Ponti dem ital. Design neuen Auftrieb, ab 1946 ist er für Venini tätig, Metallarbeiten entwarf er u.a. für Christofle, Paris und Sabattini. 1957 entwarf er sein bekanntestes Möbel, den betont filigranen 'Superleggera'-Stuhl.

Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
