Kohle und Rötel auf chamoisfarbenem Papier von D&C Blauw von 1720, hergestellt in Zaandijk, Nordholland, Niederlande (Wasserzeichen). 30,9 x 22 cm (Sichtmass), 37,8 x 47,5 cm (Passepar. Rechts unten undeutlich bezeichnet. Leicht stockfleckig, leichter Knick unten, Abdruck des Passepartouts.

Möglicherweise steht die hier angebotene Zeichnung dem Gemälde 'Die Jungfrau erscheint dem Heiligen Domenikus' in der Kirche Santa Maria del Rosario in Venedig nahe, die von Giovanni Battista Tiepolo zwischen 1737 bis 1739 ausgemalt wurde.
