Heilige Familie bei der Rast auf der Flucht nach Ägypten
Szene in einer italienischen Landschaft vor einer antiken römischen Ruine mit Säule und einer Baumgruppe. Auf diesem Gemälde sitzt die Hl. Familie direkt unterhalb der Säule und Josef reicht dem lebhaften Kind ein reifes, rot leuchtendes Kirschenpaar. Odazzi war ein Schüler von Ciro Ferri und Cornelis Blomaert, arbeitete danach bei Giovanni Battista Gaulli (Bacciccio); schließlich ging er zu Carlo Maratta, bei dem Odazzi seine Kunst weiterentwickelte. Zu den weiteren Einflüssen auf Odazzis Stil zählt Raffael, den man im 18. Jh. für die Sanftheit seiner Figuren sehr bewunderte. 1705 wurde Odazzi Mitglied der Congregazione dei Virtuosi al Pantheon und 1706 Mitglied der Accademia di San Luca in Rom. In den Jahren danach erhielt Odazzi eine Reihe von bedeutenden Aufträgen für Gemälde und Fresken in Kirchen. Nach dem Tod Marattas (1713) übernahm Odazzi eine Führungsrolle in der römischen Schule des Spätbarock und Rokoko, gab der italienischen Kunst des 18. Jhs. wichtige Impulse. Eines der wiederkehrenden Motive in Odazzis Oeuvre war die Ruhe auf der Flucht nach Ägypten, die er in unterschiedlichsten Versionen malte. Öl/Lwd.; 48 cm x 36 cm. Rahmen.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
