First edition, posthumous, of the nine tragedies of Giraldi here collected with independent title, in a single volume dedicated to the Duke of Ferrara (with the exception of Orbicche, printed for the first time by Aldo's heirs in 1543). Giraldi strongly influenced European theater and was used as a source of inspiration by many writers including Shakespeare and Cervantes.
9 works in one volume, 8vo (140 x 90mm). Collective title with portrait of the author on the reverse, dedication to the Duke of Ferrara, 9 works bound together, each of them with title and portrait of the author on the verso, woodcut initials and headpieces (wormholes in the first two leaves with some loss of text). Contemporary vellum with manuscript title on spine, speckled edges (light wear).

After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
