Formschöner Aryballos aus hellem grünlichem Glas mit hohem Hals und zylindrischer Öffnung. Der Körper leicht gerippt. Deutlicher Absatz am Übergang von der Schulter zum Hals. Teilweise mit Konkretionen. Ein kleines Loch und eine Stelle, an der das Glas vom versinternen Inhalt abgeplatzt ist. Höhe 13,5 cm.
In speziell angefertigem Kasten aus der Sammlung Moshe Dayan.
Provenienz: Sammlung Moshe Dayan, Israel (vor 1981). Dann amerikanische Privatsammlung, später europäische Sammlung.
Beautifully shaped aryballos made of light greenish glass with a high neck and cylindrical opening. The body is slightly ribbed. Clear shoulder at the transition from the shoulder to the neck. Partly with concretions. One small hole and one spot where the glass has chipped from the sintered contents. Height 13,5 cm.
In a specially made box of the Moshe Dayan collection.
Provenance: Moshe Dayan Collection, Israel (before 1981). Then American private collection, later European collection.
