Stark geschwungene Klinge aus Wootzdamast mit Vierkantspitze und t-förmig verstärktem, floral goldeingelegtem Rücken. Am beidseitigen Klingenansatz jeweils goldeingelegter Floraldekor und erhaben geschnittene, mit arabischer Inschrift goldeingelegte Vase. En suite floral vollflächig goldeingelegte, eiserne Griffschienen. Die beidseitigen Griffschalen aus Walrosselfenbein, jeweils durch ein Band mit in Kundan-Technik gefassten Rubinen, Smaragden und Diamanten in Gold unterteilt. Auf der Quartseite die Goldfassung größtenteils fehlend, einige der Steine im darunterliegenden Lack erhalten. Textilbezogene, an Mund und Ort beidseitig mit (verschlissenem) Silberlahn und kleinen Glasperlen bestickte originale Holzscheide. Länge 36,5 cm.

A gold-inlaid Indian pesh kabz set with precious stones, 18th century
The distinctly curved blade made of wootz-Damascus with a quadrangular point and t-shaped, reinforced spine with floral gold inlays. Gold-inlaid floral decoration and a raised, gold-inlaid vase with an Arabic inscription chiselled on both sides at the root of the blade. En suite floral, completely gold-inlaid iron grip straps. Walrus ivory grip scales on both sides, each divided by a band of rubies, emeralds and diamonds set in gold in Kundan technique. Most of the gold setting missing on the reverse, several of the gemstones stuck to the underlying lacquer. The original wooden scabbard covered in cloth, embellished on both sides of the locket and chape with (worn) silver wire and small glass beads. Length 36.5 cm.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
