A Roman glass unguent bottle with figural gold lid, 1st century
Oblong gold ribbon glass perfume bottle, the rim of which has a gold border. The lid is designed as a delicate, graceful woman's head (with a long neck and necklace) and has a long spike on the underside with which drop by drop the precious perfume could be removed from the container. The lid and the bezel are connected by a chain. The thick glass is polychrome (turquoise, blue, white etc.) with gold threads worked into it. Length 11.8 cm. Weight 49 g.
Exceptional in this design and condition.

Goldbandglas mit figürlichem Golddeckel, römisch, 1. Jhdt.
Längliches Goldbandglas-Parfumfläschchen, dessen Rand eine goldene Einfassung besitzt. Der Deckel ist als feiner, anmutiger Frauenkopf gestaltet (mit langem Hals und Halskette) und besitzt auf der Unterseite einen langen Dorn, mit dem tröpfchenweise das kostbare Parfum aus dem Behälter herausgenommen werden konnte. Deckel und Einfassung sind durch eine Kette miteinander verbunden. Das dicke Glas ist polychrom (türkis, blau, weiß etc.) mit eingearbeiteten Goldfäden. Länge 11,8 cm. Gewicht 49 g.
Außergewöhnlich in dieser Gestaltung und Erhaltung.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
