Leicht geschwungene Rückenklinge mit zweischneidiger Spitze und beidseitig dreifacher Kehlung. Gekehlter Rücken, quartseitig in der Kehlung drei geschlagene Marken. Aufwendig tauschiertes, eisernes Gefäß mit gut erhaltenem, feinem Wolkendekor in Gold, die Tauschierung an den Kanten teils berieben. Beidseitig fein tauschierte Knaufplatte, fein durchbrochen mit beweglicher Öse. Länge 91 cm.
A gold-inlaid North Indian tulwar, late 18th century
Slightly curved, single-edged blade with a double-edged point and triple fullers on both sides. Fullered along the back edge, three marks struck into the fullers on the obverse. Elaborately inlaid iron hilt with a well-preserved, fine pattern of clouds in gold, the edges of the inlays rubbed in places. Fine inlays on both sides of the pommel plate, the intricately openworked pommel cap with a movable loop. Length 91 cm.
