Vier Szenen aus der Geschichte der Ikone sind abgebildet: Die Ikone erscheint Fischern, die Gottesmutter erscheint dem Georgij und sagt ihm, dass statt des eisernen Kreuzes ein Holzkreuz auf das Kirchendach gesetzt werden muss (Motiv der Gottesmutter Besednaja), Heilung eines Blinden und Heilung eines Lahmen. Unten ist der Text des Troparions zur Tichwinskaja aufgemalt. Die Randheiligen sind der Hl. Prochorus und die Heilige Agrippina.
