In breiten, lockeren, teils pastosen Pinselstrichen in leuchtendem, fein nuanciertem Kolorit gemalte, ausschnitthaft angelegte Darstellung eines sonnendurchfluteten Zimmers, in dem eine junge Frau auf einem Stuhl sitzt, den Blick gen Fenster richtet und somit dem Betrachter den Rücken zuwendet. Sensibel geschilderte, intime Szene, die die Licht- und Farbstimmungen künstlerisch herausragend einfängt. Kuehl studierte an der Dresdener und Münchener Akademie. Nach seiner ersten Begegnung mit dem französischen Impressionismus 1873 auf der Wiener Weltausstellung, wurde er 1878-1889 in Paris ansässig. Sein Oeuvre umfasst außer stillen Interieurs, Genreszenen und Stadtansichten auch eine Reihe von Kircheninterieurs. Kuehl gilt als bedeutender Vertreter des frühen deutschen Impressionismus und beeinflusste als einflussreicher und erfolgreicher Lehrer zahlreiche bedeutende Maler wie u. a. Otto Pippel. The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments.
