Kaliber .44 S&W Russian, Nr. 3895, nummerngleich. Runder 8"-Lauf mit matter Seele. Sechsschüssig. Auf dem Lauf Standardfirmierung. Neusilberkorn. Metallteile leicht mechanisch gereinigt, teilweise fleckig mit kleinen Korrossionsstellen. Sehr gute Gravuren in der Art der bekannten Nimschke Stücke. Originalität der Gravur nicht gesichert. Stark gealterte, originale Elfenbeingriffschalen. Mechanisch in Ordnung. Länge circa 35 cm.

An engraved early pattern Smith & Wesson 3rd Model American, USA, circa 1871
Cal. .44 S&W Russian, SN. 3895, matching numbers. Round 8"-barrel, matte bore. Six shots. Standard markings on the barrel. German silver front sight. Metall surfaces cleaned, still a bit spotted with minor traces of corrosion. Very nice engraving, Nimschke-style, but we aren't certain if it's original. Original ivory grips, aged. Mechanically sound. Length circa 35 cm.
