Silver, partly gilded, finely engraved and hallmarked. In the eight round medallions on fine punziertem reason, and in high and low Relief
Representations of the landscape with people and animals in lush Vegetation. Between the
Medallions of eight small engraved cartouches with plants and flowers. The weight of 2160g, Ø 46 cm, height 3.5 cm. Dutch import mark (1814-1893), used for large objects consisting of at least 833er silver. Condition A/B.
The extremely rich detail and refined decor with partial gilding is typical of silver from the middle of the Qing dynasty. The plate is also ungemarkt, what's in it for Chinese silver from this period is unusual. Only on a later export silver Chinese manufacturer's brand is often found.

Comparisons:
To date, a small wine-jug made of silver with similar decoration, also ungemarkt and in the same time, was auctioned off in our auction 406 under lot 2581.
