Esche, Eibe und ebonisiertes Holz. Maserhölzer. Silber. Im Stil der Renaissance. Rechteckiger Korpus mit breiter, profilierter Sockelzarge.
Die Vorder- und Rückseite jeweils mit drei Arkadenbögen und seitlich je einer Viertelsäule mit Ornamentbändern. Die Seiten mit je einem aufwendig gearbeiteten Tragegriff auf einer Rollwerkkartusche mit Blumenzier. Die Front ist als Schreibplatte zu öffnen. Aufklappbarer, gewölbter Deckel. Die Wölbung mit einem Schuppenrelief, die Eckbeschläge mit Akanthus und Blüten verziert. Die Deckelplatte mit Kassettenfüllungen, der zentrale Silberbeschlag mit einem ligiertem Monogramm MH. 38x64x44cm.
Beschläge teilweise gemarkt mit Krone/Halbmond 800 und AS.
