Große Meissen Figurengruppe "Knabe mit Reh". Auf rundem Profilsockel stehender, dunkelhaariger Knabe in weißem, knielangem Hemd, das seitlich stehende Rehkitz am Riemen führend und mit Grünpflanzen fütternd. Polychrome Malerei mit Goldkonturierung. Entw. Johann Christian Hirt, um 1880 - 1882. Modell-Nr. M 148. Unw. rest.; Schwertermarke. H. 37 cm.
Der in Fürth geborene Bildhauer Johann Christian Hirt (1836 - 1897) studierte ab 1855 an der Münchner Akademie Klassische Plastik bei Max von Widnmann. Er schuf zahlreiche Statuen und Kleinplastiken zur Ausführung in Bronze, Silber und Porzellan. Anfang der 1880er Jahre erwarb die Meissener Manufaktur kompositorisch vergleichbare Figuren wie der "Knabe mit Hund" (M 149) und "Mädchen mit Ziege" (M 152).

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
