A large French pendulum clock "Perseus and Andromeda", 1st half of the 19th century
Case made of several pieces of matt gilt bronze with finely polished accents. Base on four volute feet surrounded by an ornamental frieze. Composition with Andromeda chained to a rock, Perseus with helmet and sword next to her, freeing her from her shackles. Silvered dial. Movement with quarter hour strike, the plate stamped "Modeman (?) à Paris". Movement running, exact function not tested. Height 69.5 cm.

Mehrteilig gearbeitetes Gehäuse aus matt vergoldeter Bronze mit fein polierten Akzenten. Sockel auf vier Volutenfüßen mit umlaufendem Ornamentfries. Aufbau mit der an einen Fels geketteten Andromeda, neben ihr Perseus mit Helm und Schwert, sie von den Ketten befreiend. Versilbertes Zifferblatt. Werk mit Viertelstundenschlag, die Platine gestempelt "Modeman(?) à Paris". Werk läuft, genaue Funktion nicht überprüft. Höhe 69,5 cm.
