Silber, partiell vergoldet. Auf einem ovalen Sockel mit getriebenem Blatt- und Blütendekor. Vollplastisch als Eule mit graviertem Federkleid gearbeitete Hohlfigur. Vergoldete Krallen, Augen und Schnabel. Abnehmbarer Kopf. Sockel auf der Rückseite punziert mit Mondsichel, Krone, Feingehalt "800" und Firmenmarke "BUCHHOLZ&ZELT". Höhe 34,5 cm, Gewicht 1771 g. Die Silbermanufaktur Buchholz & Zelt exportierte viele Hanauer Silberobjekte nach New York.
Silver, partially gilt. On an oval base chased with scrolling foliage and flowers. Hollow figure of an owl with engraved feathers. Gilt claws, eyes, and beak. Removable head. The base stamped on the underside with crescent moon, crown, "800" hallmark, and "BUCHHOLZ&ZELT" maker's mark. Height 34.5 cm, weight 1,771 g. The silversmiths Buchholz & Zelt exported many silver objects from Hanau to New York.
