Auf einem felsigen Sockel reitet der langbärtige General und Kriegsgott, Guan Yu, auf dem berühmten Pferd "Roter Hase" (Chi Tu). Er trägt eine fein detaillierte Rüstung mit erhabenen Mustern. Sein Gesicht zeigt einen ernsten Ausdruck mit zusammengezogenen Augenbrauen. In der rechten Hand hält er ein geöffnet Buch, graviert mit Inschrift "zhi zai chun qiu", während die linke Hand seine Waffe "Guan Dao" (hier fehlend) hält. Ihn begleiten seine beiden Wächter, Guan Ping und Zhou Cang, die jeweils in ihrer charateristischen Rüstung gekleidet sind.
