Bronze with remains of gilding. The four-armed Avalokiteshvara holds a flower in his outer hands a Lotus and a rosary, his characteristic attributes. The hydrants hands are folded in anjali mudra worship gesture. He is wearing rich jewellery, a thin shawl wraps around the shoulders and arms and falls on his legs down. His head is adorned with an impressive five-piece crown and his hair is tied in a high Chignon, crowned by the head of the Buddha Amitabha.

With a curved chest and a small waist, this figure shows a very female Form of the Bodhisattva. Socket closed. Weight 4050g, height 35.5 cm. Condition A/B.
