Silber, vergoldet. Runder Fuß. Die bauchige Wandung umseitig mit getriebenen Muscheln, Rocaillen und Blattwerk verziert. Front mit Adler auf punziertem Fond. Der Rand des gewölbten Steckdeckels ist entsprechend gestaltet. Mittig eingelegte Rubelmünze mit Abbildung von Peter II. (Kaiser von Russland 1727 - 1730) von 1728. Plastischer Drücker in Form eines doppelköpfigen Januskopfes. Janus ist das Symbol für Dualität und Zwiespältigkeit, er steht gleichzeitig für das Gute und auch das Böse. Bandhenkel mit schildförmigem Abschluss. Unterseite und Deckel punziert mit Stadtmarke "17[??]", unbekannter Beschaumeistermarke "AG" und Meistermarke "GS" in Kyrillisch. Vergoldung später. Im Inneren restaurierter Riss und kleine Fehlstelle. Höhe 20,5 cm, Gewicht 708,1 g.

Gilt silver. Circular foot. The exterior of the bellied body embossed with seashells, rocailles, and foliage. The obverse featuring an eagle on stippled ground. The edge of the domed lid decorated en suite. The centre inlaid with a Rubel coin depicting Peter II (Emperor of Russia 1727 - 1730) from 1728. Button in the form of a two-faced Janus head. Janus symbolises duality and ambiguity, representing both good and evil. Banded handle with shield-shaped finial. The bottom and lid stamped with the city mark "17[??]", unknown assayer's mark "AG", and "GS" master's mark, both in Cyrillic. Later gold plating. The interior with restored crack and small loss. Height 20.5 cm, weight 708.1 g.
