Mehrteilig zusammengesetzter, plastischer Blechadler, rückseitig hohl verbödet mit drei Befestigungsöffnungen. Laut Angaben des Einlieferers stammte der Adler aus der Kärntner Gauleitung. Die beiliegenden Fotos zeigen den ursprünglichen Fundzustand: weiß übermalt mit Rissen und Fehlstellen. Er wurde von einem Spenglermeister restauriert und bronzefarben gestrichen. Flügelspannweite ca. 152 cm, Höhe ca. 55 cm, Gewicht 8 kg.

A large wall eagle following the model of the eagle from the Reichstag in the Berlin Krolloper
Made of several pieces, a three-dimensional eagle of sheet metal, hollow back with three fastening holes. According to the consignor the eagle originally came from the gau administration of Kärnten, Austria. The enclosed pictures illustrate the original condition: painted white with cracks and losses. It was restored by a master tinsmith who painted the eagle bronze. Wing span ca. 152 cm, height ca. 55 cm. Weight 8 kg.
