Ebonisierte und gestufte Holzkonstruktion auf vier vergoldeten Tatzenfüßen. Die Seiten jeweils verziert mit mehrfarbigen, figürlich bemalten Emaille-Plaketten. An den vier Ecken jeweils eine vergoldete weibliche Bronzefigur unter pagodenförmigem, durch Säulen getragenem und mit einem Adler bekröntem Aufsatz. Im Sockelbereich breite und flache Schublade mit Schloss. Darüber abschließbares Fach mit zwei scharniergelagerten Türen. An der Spitze gestufter Aufsatz mit schmalem, verschiebbarem Geheimfach. Zwei Schlüssel. Schöne Erhaltung. Maße 41 x 31 x 50 cm.

A large cabinet-case, Vienna, 19th century
Ebonized and tiered wooden construction on four gilt paw feet. The sides decorated with polychrome enamel panels featuring figures. Each of the four corners with a bronze gilt female figure under a pagoda-shaped, pillared top surmounted by an eagle terminal. In the base a wide and flat drawer with lock, topped by a lockable compartment with two hinged doors. Tiered top with narrow, movable secret compartment. Two keys. Fine condition. Dimensions 41 x 31 x 50 cm.
