Lot 2202 Large Okimono of a fisherman
Japan. Meiji Period. 1900.

Ivory, carved and finely engraved, the eyes painted black. The fisherman holds a long-tailed turtle (minogame), on the Hand, in front of him
his little son, who was also an Angel, a cancer of the bite.
May be a mitate-presentation of Ebisu. As a special Detail, a tobacco bag with
Pipe case (kiseruzutsu) in a netsuke to the belt of the fisherman. Height 33.8 cm, Ø 10,5 cm. signed: In the bottom Ikido signed:. Condition A/B.
