Elfenbein, fein geschnitzt und graviert, glatte Partien poliert. Der Arhat stemmt mit der Linken die Figur des Shôki empor. Er ist gekleidet in ein buddhistisches kasaya-Gewand mit großen Drachen- und Vogelmedaillons. Am bloßen Oberkörper trägt er aufwendigen Schmuck, in beiden Ohren große Ohrringe und um die Linke hat er eine Gebetskette geschlungen. Mit der Rechten hält er einen großen Blattfächer umfasst, dekoriert mit zwei Vögeln und einer Quaste. Seine Haare sind gelockt, wie auch sein Bart und der fein dargestellte Oberlippenbart. Die Figur des Shôki ist ebenfalls detailreich geschnitzt und zeigt ihn zusammen mit zahlreichen kleinen oni. Er hält mit beiden Händen einen großen Schatzsack. Sein Helm ist mit einer Maske verziert mit in Perlmutt eingelegten Augen.
Dieses okimono der Tôkyô-Schule ist sehr fein geschnitzt und zeigt besonders im Gesicht und am Schmuck das Können des Schnitzers. Höhe 47cm. Signiatur: Unter der Bodenplatte in Rotlack: Tsuneaki (oder Kômei). Zustand A/B. Altersrisse.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
