Großes Porzellangemälde "Junges Mädchen mit Blumen". nach Friedrich Dürck aus der KPM Berlin
Rechteckige Bildplatte. Vor imposantem Bergpanorama, auf einer blühenden Almwiese liegendes, mit beiden Armen auf einen Stein gestütztes, junges Mädchen mit brünettem, lockigem Haar in dunkelblauem Rock und weißer Bluse sowie mit Umhängetasche. Mit der linken Hand stützt sie ihren Kopf, während sie in der Rechten einen soeben gepflückten Blumenstrauß hält. Ihren forschen Blick richtet sie zum Betrachter. Im linken Mittelgrund angedeutete Dorfkulisse. Nach dem 1873 entstandenen Ölgemälde des Porträt- und Genremalers Friedrich Dürck. Feine polychrome Malerei. Links bez. und dat. "Merkel-Heine (18)86" mit Ortsangabe "Wiesbaden". Verso altes Klebeetikett handschriftl. betitelt "Sunday morning after Dürck". Vergoldeter, stuckierter Barockstil-Rahmen. Eingepresste Zepter- mit KPM-Marke. Plattenmaß 30,5 cm x 38 cm. Rahmen 50 cm x 40 cm.
Ausführung des Kunstinstitutes für Porzellanmalerei "Merkel-Heine" in Wiesbaden. Der in Leipzig geborene Friedrich Dürck (1809-1884) studierte ab 1824 Porträtmalerei an der Münchener Kunstakademie und war zudem angestellt bei seinem Onkel, dem Hofmaler Joseph Stieler. Er spezialisierte sich auf Bildnisse bekannter Persönlichkeiten, u.a. von König Ludwig I.
