Großes Porzellangemälde "Raub der Dejanira" nach Guido Reni aus der KPM Berlin
Rechteckige Bildplatte mit mythologischer, szenischer Darstellung des Raubes der Dejanira, Gemahlin des Herakles, durch den Kentaur Nessus, der ihr beim Überqueren des hochwasserführenden Flusses Euenos helfen und sie letztlich entführen wollte. Im Hintergrund der am Ufer stehende, zur Hilfe eilende Gatte, der Nessus mit einem vergifteten Pfeil tötete. Nach einem Ölgemälde des italienischen Barockmalers Guido Reni (1575 - 1642), heute im Louvre in Paris. Äußerst feine polychrome Malerei. Prächtiger, vergoldeter Stuckrahmen mit reliefiertem Laub- und Bandelwerkdekor. Eingepresste Zepter- und KPM-Marke. Platte 33,5 cm x 28,5 cm. 51,5 x 46,5 cm.
