A GILT-BRONZE BELT BUCKLE WITH TAOTIE - China, Warring States period - The body of the belt hook consists of a triple fluted shaft, at the front end of which, after a smooth transverse groove, sits a large, plastically formed mask, while the smaller mask at the other end merges into the hook proper, which in turn merges into a small dragon head. The button at the back sits, as was usually the case at the time, at the transition from the first to the second third of the shank. - Important Austrian private collection, acquired in the early 1990s from E. & J. The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
