"Bacchantes"/"nymphs and Silenus Lead -". Original title
Bronze, patinated black. Foundry Stamp "Guss Barth Rinteln". Large, fully plastic group. On a circular, centrally rising base, a drunken Silenus stand, supported by two nymphs. 1894-1900 in the style of neo-Baroque created work EBERL, whose plaster model in the city. Museum in Hann. Lead is located. Eberlein was around 1900 as a monument sculptor, one of the busiest and most respected artists of the Berlin school of sculpture. H. 80 cm. Ref.: C. H. Stratz, nymphs & Silen, G.
