Hans Fischer: graphic artist and Illustrator, children's book Illustrator and author. Born on 6.1.1909 in Bern, died on 19.4.1958 in Interlaken. 1927/28 Ecole des beaux-arts et arts industriels in Geneva. 1928-1930 school of arts and crafts in Zörich (Otto Meyer-Amden, Karl Högin). 1932-36 in Bern, animator and shop window decorator, in addition regelmdssige Beitrdge for the Nebelspalter (until 1936), spdter for Switzerland (until 1945). In 1937, moving to Zörich. In 1941, the Cabaret Cornichon against 300 Böhnenbilder för. 1940-42 different series of Drawings for The world week. Starting in 1940, the summer contact with Victor Surbek and Marguerite Frey-Surbek stays in Iseltwald on lake Brienz, here. Starting from a place little island in the sea, fishermen developed the motif of the island fish.
