HASEGAWA ISSEI, KAWAMURA HIDEAKI, TWO RELIEFS Japan, mid-20th century Japan, Mitte des 20. Jahrhunderts Metal, framed and under glass. 22x35-23x36 cm (42.5x67-40.5x69 cm with frame). Including the relief "Twin Cranes" by Hasegawa Issei, signed lower right and with seal; the relief "Mt. Fuji", signed lower right and with seal, both in wooden box. With traces of use, the boxes partially damaged. These two reliefs were a personal gift from the then governor of the city of Tokyo, Azuma Ryotaro, to the former Vice Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, Erich Mende, then a member of the German Bundestag. Das Konvolut umfasst die Darstellung ''Zwillingskranich'' von Hasegawa Issei, unten rechts signiert und mit Siegel; die Darstellung ''Der Fuji'', unten rechts signiert und mit Siegel, beide in Holzkiste. Mit Gebrauchsspuren, die Kisten teilweise beschaedigt. Die beiden Darstellungen waren ein persoenliches Geschenk des damaligen Gouverneurs von der Stadt Tokio, Azuma Ryotaro, an den ehemaligen Vizekanzler der Bundesrepublik Deutschland, Erich Mende, damals Mitglied des Deutschen Bundestages. Provenienz: Aus einer Privatsammlung in Nordrhein-Westfalen.
